New Platinum - God of War - Ghost of Sparta

I just got the platinum trophy out of the last God of War game... it's actually quite easy to get this trophy, the challenge of the gods is also easy. There are some frustrating ones though like the ones where you have to burn 500 enemies or the one that requires you to unlock everything in the temple of Zeus (it requires more than 900000 red orbs, thank god for a certain godly possession).

As for my next game, if I get my hands on Skyrim tomorrow I'll begin with it, if not I'll try to get the the trophies I'm missing form Assassin's Creed II.

New Platinum - God of War 2 and God of War - Chain of Olympus

As the title says I've two more platinum trophies out of the God of War franchise. Like in every other God of War game the most frustrating trophies are related to the "Challenge" mode. The challenges where you have to kill airborne enemies and other where you have to kill everything without being hit are among the worst, but there one particularly frustrating until to know how to do it: Killing everything while your health is being depleted, I mean the game gives you just enough time to do it almost without any errors...

Anyway, I'm know tackling GoW: Ghost of Sparta to see if I can get my fifth and final platinum trophy out of this franchise (so far). Also, be sure to check Random Game Reviews, a new blog where some people (including me) will review random games.

New Platinum - God of War

Just completed the God of War game in under 5 hours and got the "Speed of Jason McDonald" and platinum trophies. Overall the platinum is very easy to get once you have the challenge of the gods completed (as I said before the 10th challenge is very, very frustrating).

My next platinum hunting will be God of War II probably, so stay tuned for more news.

God of War Progress

Just earned "Seeing Red", "Hitman 2" and "Splash" so now I only need to beat the game in under 5 hours for the "Speed of Jason McDonald" and platinum trophies. I'm going to use a costume I've earned for beating the challenge of the gods that will help on this one, wish me luck (or pacience).

God of War - "I'll Take the Physical Challenge"

I just did the challenge of the gods in God of War and I have to tell you that the 10th challenge is the most frustrating thing I've ever done in my life. If you're going for the "I'll Take the Physical Challenge" trophy then I hope you're a lucky person, if not then prepare yourself.

My first entry

Welcome!

I've decided to create this blog when I earned my 5th platinum trophy to share with the rest of the world my game progress.

I'll start by reviewing the platinum trophies that I've got:

• Darksiders - This game's platinum trophy is quite easy to earn although getting the 160 kills with the angelic beast can be frustrating.

• Final Fantasy XIII - This game's platinum trophy is very time consuming. Getting all the items, doing all side missions with 5 star ranking and fully developing all characters are some examples of things you have to do to earn it that can take a very long time. It can also be hard if you can't use the battle system's paradigm shift effectively. Overall is not really hard if you know how to win the battles but is very time consuming.

• God of War III - The titan mode is quite hard to master because you have to avoid getting hit at all costs and the challenges can be frustrating. Overall is not an easy platinum to get.

• inFamous - Getting all the fragments is a pain because you can only track them if you're near them. Doing all stunts and killing 25 enemies on top of a moving train can be really frustrating. Overall is an easy trophy but frustrating.

• inFamous 2 - It's easy to get. The only thing that can be frustrating to do is getting the 29 secret messages but even that is easy.

The other games I own that have trophies are: Assassin's Creed II, Dead Nation, Fallout 3, God of War I and II, Heavy Rain, LittleBigPlanet (don't know if I'll ever try this one) and Uncharted 2.
